Shelby Handler is a writer, performer and educator living on Duwamish territory/Seattle, WA. A 2019 Richard Hugo House fellow, their work has been supported by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, Gay City Arts, Asylum Arts, Artist Trust and the Yiddish Book Center. Recent work has appeared in Gigantic Sequins, glitterMOB and the Write Bloody anthology “We Will Be Shelter: Poems for Survival.” They are a founding member of the Jewish Voice for Peace Artists and Cultural Workers Council.
